Carol Lostlen Memorial Scholarship

The Carol Lostlen Memorial Scholarship was established by friends and family of Carol Lostlen in 2007. Carol and her children Bruce and Janelle have been long time supporters of Sierra Pines Baptist Camp and it's successor Sierra Pines Camp in many ways-directing, counseling, and working as volunteers and paid permanent staff.

lostlen

Carol, who was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Foothill Farms, passed away after a long valiant struggle with cancer. Her friends and family chose Sierra Pines Camp as the place most suited to honor the memory of Carol through financial remembrances. As a result, in her memory each year at least one boy and one girl youth will receive a full scholarship to summer camp. This scholarship will be based on financial need as stated on the scholarship application and supported by a recommendation from a church leader, coach, or school teacher. the selection or recipient will be made by the Sierra Pines Camp Board the month prior to summer camp.

Counselors/Program Staff

If you are interested in being part of our counselor or program staff contact Sean through our contact page.

Notes To Church Camp Organizers

You may register your own campers, however, Sierra Pines also schedules camps to save you time and eliminate your logistics headaches. Let us do the planning and preparation for you. We provide meals, a place to stay, teaching, singing, fun activities (play) and more.

IMPORTANT!

Send counselors with your church's campers at a 1:7 ratio per gender.

Although Sierra Pines believes in providing excellent supervision, supervision primarily by way of your own church's counselors will help to provide better long-term growth and nurturing.
